The Sacred Art of Teaching Book Club
Start or join a student-led book club centered on The Sacred Art of Teaching by Lisa Delpit and Christopher Emdin. As part of the TTL storytelling collective, these gatherings offer smaller spaces for conversation, reflection, and sharing experiences and perspectives. TTL will reimburse eligible meals and non-alcoholic beverages up to $20 per person. Use the TTL Book Club Sign-Up to create or join a group.
Student Advisory Board (SAB) Meeting

The next TTL SAB meeting will take place on Friday, September 25, from 5–6:30 p.m. The board will continue shaping upcoming community events and initiatives. Location to be announced. Please join us if you are interested in becoming a core member, as this will be the final opportunity to join the board this semester.
Pizza & Pedagogy

TTL is partnering with Harvard College’s EdSecondary program to bring undergraduate and graduate students together for conversation about issues in education. Our first gathering will take place on Tuesday, September 29, from 5–6:30 p.m. in Boylston Hall’s Ticknor Lounge. RSVP link to follow.
Fashion Is a Great Teacher

A creative wellbeing experience exploring fashion as a teacher—a way of reflecting on identity, self-expression, embodiment, and the stories we carry and communicate through what we wear.
An invitation to consider what fashion can teach us about who we are, how we relate to others, and how we move through the world on Thursday, October 8, from 4–6 p.m.
Learning With Families

Join us on Friday, November 6, from 4–6 p.m. in Gutman Conference Center, Rooms 4 and 5, for a shared meal and conversation with family members from our school partner communities. Together, we’ll listen, connect, and deepen our understanding of the relationships among families, students, and teachers. Dinner will be served.
