Introduction to Mindfulness 
Harvard Center for Wellness & Health Promotion

Starts September 21-24

A four-week series for Harvard students focused on mindfulness and meditation practice. Multiple in-person and virtual options are available, including Tuesdays, September 22-October 13, 4:00-5:15 p.m., in person at HUHS with Sydney McCartin. 

A gentle way to build attention, presence, and a little breathing room into the semester.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Students looking for a quieter practice can explore Harvard's mindfulness offerings or beginner-friendly meditation opportunities in Cambridge. Harvard's student mindfulness series begins the week of September 21, while Cambridge Insight Meditation Center begins a five-week introductory course on September 24.

An invitation to slow down, notice what is here, and cultivate a steadier relationship with the day.

Fashion Is a Great Teacher

A creative well-being experience exploring fashion as a teacher - a way to reflect on identity, self-expression, embodiment, and the stories we carry and communicate through what we wear.

An invitation to consider what fashion can teach us about who we are, how we relate to others, and how we move through the world.

Outdoor Yoga

Wednesday, September 23 | 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.
Brighton Common

Harvard Ed Portal's outdoor yoga series offers an all-levels practice at the Brighton Farmers Market. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel and spend an hour stretching, moving, and finding some calm outdoors. Another session is scheduled for October 7.

Movement, fresh air, and an easy reason to step away from the academic day.

Fostering Collective Well-being through Art-making in Community

Wednesday, October 21 | 1:00 -1:50 p.m. 
Kresge 202A, Harvard Chan

A hands-on well-being workshop exploring how art-making can support mental, physical, and social well-being.

Through reflection, conversation, words, images, and a creative activity, participants will consider collective well-being and how making together can foster connection, belonging, collaboration, and shared meaning. Lunch is provided.

A chance to experience creative expression not as an extra, but as a way of connecting with ourselves and one another. 

Take what you need: movement, stillness, expression, connection, or simply a pause.
